Table tennis socks:

In our table tennis store you have the choice between different table tennis socks, but they all have the same structure. The fabric is slightly thicker at the pressure points (sole, toes) for a comfortable fit. The fabric then becomes noticeably thinner again at the instep of the table tennis sock. High-quality sports or table tennis socks not only guarantee a pain-free wearing experience, but also absorb moisture better and protect the feet from unpleasant blisters.

We offer the following brands:

Donic, Fly, Mizuno, Tibhar

Table tennis shoes:

When buying a sports shoe and for table tennis in general, there are a few factors to consider. The first question is whether you should buy "normal" sports shoes or "special" table tennis shoes.

As a lot is demanded of the shoe during sport, especially when working your legs sideways or forwards/backwards, you should opt for the "special" table tennis shoes, provided you intend to play this sport in the long term. For table tennis, it is advisable to choose shoes with a soft, non-slip sole made of natural rubber with a "coarse" profile (shoes without a profile lose their grip in dusty conditions).

A lightweight shoe is also very important. When you need to be ready to run, a spring on your foot feels better than a stone. For this reason, some "normal" indoor shoes are already falling out of the range.

These two factors naturally also include comfort. The right balance is crucial here. There must be enough air in the table tennis shoe, but not too much on all sides. The constant load changes, stopping, running back and forth put a lot of strain on the shoe and therefore also on our feet and joints. A stable stance must be guaranteed during all of this. A table tennis shoe should therefore fit snugly, but not too tightly.

It is particularly important that the foot has a stable lateral hold. The shoe should not be too wide at the ankle. Good table tennis shoes must be flexible. When weight is shifted, the shoe must not "roll off" (foot buckles). If the table tennis shoe is too stable, the foot will bend over the edge of the shoe. This can be caused by the sole being too high.

All of this is taken into account in a table tennis shoe.

Shoe brands:

We offer such "special" table tennis shoes in various colors and brands: Adidas, Asics, Donic, Mizuno, Tibhar, XPD.

So don't forget:

A table tennis sports shoe must...

...provide a good ground contact feeling

...be light

...be non-slip

...be flexible, but not "wobbly"

...ensure lateral stability

...not have a sole that is too high

...be cushioned

...be breathable
