Squash rackets

The right squash racket for every type of player!
In our squash online store you will find the right squash rackets, from beginners to professionals.
Very inexpensive rackets for beginners are made of aluminum, followed by the so-called composite frames, one part made of graphite and one part made of aluminum. As aluminum is considerably heavier than graphite, these rackets also weigh considerably more than a full graphite frame.

Playing characteristics of squash rackets

Top-heavy - handle-heavy
As with badminton rackets, this characteristic says something about the balance of the racket. Top-heavy rackets with a higher center of gravity feel heavier and carry a little more weight in the racket head. This gives you a good swing mass and a lot of power with a stable hitting point. However, you also need a little more strength to move these rackets quickly. Grip-heavy squash rackets feel lighter and carry a little more weight in the racket grip. This type of racket can be moved very quickly.

Longstring or bridge
Some squash rackets have a stringing that resembles a drop in shape, these are the so-called long-string frames. Rackets with a mostly triangular space above the handle (without string) are rackets with a "bridge".
Long-string frames have a greater trampoline effect and therefore slightly more acceleration. Rackets with a bridge play a little more controlled with less vibration.

Weight
A normal full graphite squash racket weighs approx. 160 g. Rackets weighing less than 150 g can be described as light. As in badminton, particularly light rackets feel good in the hand, but require the ball to be hit just as precisely.

In our squash online store you will find squash rackets from the brands Dunlop, Oliver, Head, Victor, QM, Karakal and Tecnifibre. The legendary QM Ultimate is available here exclusively in Germany.
