With new, innovative graphite material and optimized sweetspot area. The more affordable top version of the new 88 racket series, almost identical in construction to the PRO model.
The 88 S does not play quite as head heavy as the 88 D and is therefore more suitable for a more varied game. The lower flex point in the head keeps the ball on the racket for longer and therefore does not develop quite as much power. This makes it ideal for doubles players who are looking for maximum control and a variety of options for precise net play.
With new high-tech material "VOLUME CUT RESIN" in the racket head and revolutionary Namd graphite in the shaft for considerably more flexibility and more snapback power for successful attacking shots. The newly developed technology distributes carbon nanotubes evenly in carbon fiber composites.
The optimized club head of the new 88 S is 5mm longer than the 88 D and thus offers an even larger sweet spot for more confidence in play.
The Rotational Generator System optimally distributes the weight of the frame using counterbalance theory and enables quick preparation for the next shot with full power and control. The new, innovative graphite "2G-NamdTM Flex Force" material is used in the shaft of the new racquet and optimizes flex and snapback. The rotation generator system maximizes impact power.
The further developed, new Energy Boost Cap improves shaft performance. The shaft is curved at the front and optimizes the Namd effect. The curved flank reduces torsion and thus stabilizes the club head.
The Astrox 88 S Tour is easier to play despite the stiff shaft. Can be strung up to 12.5 kg!
The frame is unstrung. We will be happy to string the racquet with the string of your choice free of charge. On request, we can apply a manufacturer's logo to the string, please choose.
