The Astrox 88 D (Dominate) Tour, now only available unstrung as a frame in the 2024 model year. Made in Taiwan.
With new, additional weight distribution in the racket head and an optimized Rotational Generator System and therefore almost identical in construction to the PRO top rackets in the racket series.
The racket is tailored to the aggressive backcourt player, especially suitable for precisely placeable drives and powerful smashes. The 88 D Tour is 5mm longer than the 88 S.
With revolutionary Namd graphite in the shaft for considerably more flexibility and more snapback power for successful attacking shots. The newly developed technology distributes carbon nanotubes evenly in carbon fiber composites.
The optimized Rotational Generator System optimally distributes the weight of the frame using counterweight theory and enables quick preparation for the next shot with full power and control. The new, innovative graphite "2G-NamdTM Flex Force" material is used in the shaft of the new racquet and optimizes flex and snapback. The rotation generator system maximizes the hitting power.
With the additional weight distribution on the sides of the 88 D frame (Stability Weight Distribution), the stability of the frame is increased during the swing movement and maximum smash power is achieved.
The new Energy Boost Cap improves the shaft performance. The shaft is curved at the front and optimizes the Namd effect. The curved flank reduces torsion and thus stabilizes the club head.
