The Astrox 88 D (Dominate) PRO from the 2024 model year, featuring a new, additional weight distribution in the frame and an optimized Rotational Generator System.
The 88 D PRO is tailored for aggressive backcourt players and is particularly well-suited for precisely placed drives and powerful smashes. The racket is 5 mm longer overall than the 88 S PRO.
Features revolutionary Namd graphite in the shaft for significantly greater flexibility and more snapback power for successful attacking shots. This newly developed technology evenly distributes carbon nanotubes throughout the carbon fiber composite materials.
The optimized Rotational Generator System optimally distributes the frame’s weight using the counterweight theory, enabling quick preparation for the next shot with full power and control. The new, innovative “2G-Namd™ Flex Force” graphite material is incorporated into the shaft of the new racket, optimizing flex and snapback. The Rotational Generator System thus maximizes hitting power.
With the additional weight distribution on the sides of the 88 D frame (Stability Weight Distribution), the frame’s stability during the swing is increased, achieving maximum smash power.
The new Energy Boost Cap improves shaft performance. The shaft is curved on the front side, optimizing the Namd effect. The arched flank reduces torsion, thereby stabilizing the racket head.
