Yonex Astrox 100 ZZ VA Badminton Racket: Offensive, very stiff, very head-heavy, top-of-the-line model, Made in Japan, Viktor Axelsen

Yonex Astrox 100 ZZ “Viktor Axelsen” Edition

The ultimate power racket in Yonex’s Astrox series, the hugely successful Astrox 100 ZZ, will be available starting in fall 2025 in a new “Viktor Axelsen” special edition design .

The extra-stiff and head-heavy 100 ZZ is a racket featuring maximum acceleration and the latest technologies. Naturally, it’s played by Yonex top player Viktor Axelsen himself, among others.

It features the same technologies and characteristics as the previous models in blue and Kurenai. The innovative material blend “Namd” ensures maximum flex and first-class control.

The resulting high impact energy enables significantly steeper and faster attacking shots for uncompromising smashes. The Rotational Generator System distributes weight across the T-joint, frame, and grip end according to the counterweight theory, thereby providing optimal control.

The new Hyper Slim shaft is the thinnest in Yonex history and features a solid core made of the revolutionary material Namd. This provides greater elasticity and snapback performance with reduced air resistance. The Energy Boost Cap Plus maximizes shaft performance and improves the racket’s torsional stiffness.

The Astrox 100 ZZ is unstrung but will be strung by us free of charge with the string of your choice —please select below. Comes with a special “VA” design racket bag. Available only in 4U, G5.
