The feathers of the Carbonsonic are significantly more robust than those of natural feather balls, making the ball considerably more durable. The Shuttle is somewhat heavier and therefore produces a much louder sound when hit. It is also slightly slower than comparable natural feather balls. However, in the tests carried out so far in various performance classes, the feedback has been consistently very positive.
