Donic Persson Powerplay

The DONIC Persson Powerplay is a classic seven-ply solid-wood blade manufactured in Sweden, designed for control-oriented offensive players and versatile all-rounders. Thin dampening layers between the veneers provide high initial speed combined with excellent control. The feel is rather firm and direct with clear ball feedback; the catapult effect remains subtle, making short-range play and passive blocks very reliable.

Thanks to its compact blade head and medium speed, the Persson Powerplay is ideal for powerful topspins at the table and from mid-distance, as well as for precise blocks and counterattacks. Within the Persson series, it outperforms typical all-around blades. This makes it a well-balanced option for modern offensive all-around playing styles and is also suitable for players who want to transition from an all-around blade to an offensive style.
