DONIC BlueGrip C2

The BLUEGRIP table tennis rubber—in its V1 and R1 versions—was already a revolution: the best of both worlds in a single rubber! Now DONIC is taking this development even further. With the BLUEGRIP C1 and C2, two new versions have been added to this series that outshine everything else. The same applies to these two: The DONIC BLUEGRIP features a sticky, Chinese-style surface combined with a sponge that delivers a powerful catapult effect and tremendous dynamics—qualities typically found only in rubbers from Germany and Japan. But these dynamics have now been significantly enhanced. With the C1 version’s 60° hard sponge, the ball traces an even higher arc on topspin shots and gains even more speed; the C2 has a slightly softer sponge and also features subtle differences in the pimple geometry that further enhance the softer feel.

We recommend the C2 for spin-oriented offensive players who primarily want to improve their spin. Whether on serves and returns, or on push and topspin shots, the C2 enables a level of spin not seen since the days of the celluloid ball.
