Donic Acuda S3

The Donic Acuda S3 is the softest model in Donic’s brand-new spin-optimized rubber series.

All rubbers in the Acuda series are spin-optimized and feature an extremely grippy surface. They all belong to the third generation of Formula Donic ready-to-use rubbers. All rubbers in this series offer significantly improved durability.

The Acuda S3 is recommended for players who rely on a touch-oriented and spin-heavy attacking style. The S3 also allows for good control in an active all-around game with aggressive blocks. Thanks to the innovative porous sponge, the rubber has a strong catapult effect—the ball can sink into the rubber slightly more, which is further enhanced in the S3 version by the soft sponge, resulting in better “touch” on the ball.

Players who prefer a particularly powerful offensive rubber on the forehand and a slightly more controlled rubber on the backhand will find the S3 to be a good solution.

In serve-and-return situations, the Acuda is dangerous thanks to its grippy surface. However, it also absorbs the opponent’s spin well—a similar effect to that found in Tenergy rubbers.

For those who prefer a more aggressive and direct style but still rely on a spin-heavy game, the harder versions, S2 and S1, are recommended.
