Badminton shoes

The right badminton shoe for every player.
How do badminton shoes differ from conventional indoor shoes? Compared to sports such as handball and volleyball, badminton shoes are somewhat flatter and lighter. The game of badminton is characterized by very short, explosive accelerations that have to be slowed down again just as quickly. This involves accelerating and decelerating forwards, backwards and sideways. The focus is on optimized power transmission with simultaneous damping and stability.
Cushioning in badminton shoes is usually achieved by an EVA midsole, while higher-quality models often have a separate cushioning system in the heel area (e.g. Mizuno's Wave technology).
The stability of better models is always provided by a reinforced mid last, which connects the forefoot to the heel area. This ensures that the shoe does not twist as much.
The higher quality badminton shoes (e.g. the top models of the brands Yonex, Li Ning, Victor and Oliver) always have a lateral stabilization in the sole in addition to this reinforced middle strip, which is intended to prevent the shoe from slipping to the side.
The choice of the right badminton shoe is always individual. Whether you need a wider or narrower shoe, for example, ultimately depends on the shape of your foot.
We usually recommend a slightly higher quality model for regular players. Better cushioning, greater slip resistance and greater stability have a gentle effect on the joints and prevent injuries. As the cushioning of a sports shoe continuously deteriorates, we also recommend replacing your badminton shoes at regular intervals. Your feet and joints will thank you for it. Browse through our range, we often have high-class badminton shoes from the previous season on offer at sensational prices.
We stock a wide range of badminton shoes from the brands Yonex, Victor, XPD, Oliver, Li Ning, Fly, Kason, Head, Hi Tec, Asics and Mizuno.
And finally, a tip: the high-quality Victor insoles from our range can refresh the cushioning of your badminton shoes after a few months. The Everfresh shoe cushion is also suitable for shoe care.

Socks

In our badminton store you have the choice between many different socks from well-known badminton brands such as Victor, Li Ning, Yonex or Oliver.

Whether classic sports socks, ankle socks or half-high socks - there is something for every foot. Most of the socks are slightly thicker in the sole and toe area, but thinner on the instep.
High-quality socks are not only comfortable to wear, but can also protect against blisters and other injuries to the feet. So don't just treat your feet to a good pair of badminton shoes, but also make sure you have the right socks.
